[**Dental Services**](https://hushp.harvard.edu/enroll/optional-dental-plans/)  
Harvard Griffin GSAS students and their dependents may enroll in an optional Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Dental Blue plan. Students who do not enroll in a dental plan may choose to receive care on a fee-for-service basis through Harvard Dental Services or the Harvard School of Dental Medicine Dental Center.

[**HUHS Medical &amp; Mental Health Urgent Care**](https://huhs.harvard.edu/urgent-care#gsc.tab=0)  
We provide advice and treatment for urgent health problems, both physical and emotional, that require prompt attention but are not life-threatening emergencies. If a problem seems life-threatening, please call 911 immediately.

[**Counseling and Mental Health Services (CAHMS)**](https://camhs.huhs.harvard.edu/) A no-cost support service that works collaboratively across the University to support registered students who are experiencing some measure of distress in their lives. **How Counseling and Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Can Help**

CAMHS provides support for a broad range of emotional, psychological, and interpersonal concerns. Common areas include:

- Stress, anxiety, depression, and mood concerns
- Difficulty identifying or expressing feelings
- Academic or career-related challenges, including focus, concentration, and planning
- Relationship difficulties, loneliness, grief, or adjustment to life changes
- Identity-related concerns, including sexuality, cultural, or racial experiences
- Coping with trauma, chronic health conditions, or addictive behaviors

Even if you are not certain about beginning services, CAMHS can assist by:

- Offering information about available resources
- Explaining the process of getting started
- Providing an initial phone consultation to help identify which options may best fit your needs and preferences

Offers a wide range of workshops, services, and classes available to all Harvard community members. Schedule a massage or acupuncture appointment; try one of our exercise, meditation, or yoga classes. There are always new ways to enhance your own wellbeing.

GSAS students can access fitness programs and facilities to exercise, manage stress, and stay healthy. This includes the [Vanderbilt Hall Athletic Facility](https://hms.harvard.edu/departments/vanderbilt-hall/vanderbilt-hall-athletic-facility) at Longwood.

[**Countway Library Therapy Dogs**](https://countway.harvard.edu/classes-events/therapy-dogs)  
Feeling stressed? Come relax with one of our trained therapy dogs. Countway Cuddles is a therapy dog program that takes place on the first floor of the library, near the circulation desk. Sometimes the dogs need to take a break or cancel, so be sure to check online regularly.

[**Mental Wellbeing Learning Module.**](https://harvard-ma.vectorlmsedu.com/courses/details/5B964280-98A1-11EC-A50D-BF8167F96AF6) This online resource offers information to help you put your well-being and mental health first, including: self-care management skills, opportunities to engage in wellness activities, support services offered by the University, and guidance on ways to quickly connect yourself or someone you know with care in moments of anxiety or crisis.

CPR for Mental Wellbeing is a workshop series that Tara Cousineau, PhD presents at Harvard University's Counseling and Mental Health Center. She offers these videos (5-15 minutes each) as resiliency tools that may serve you in stressful and disruptive times.
